Description
Among firewood processors that can be towed behind a car, the Japa® 365+ ROAD stands out as the top model on the market. Designed with professional-grade hydraulics, full-length infeed and outfeed conveyors, and a powerful frame saw, this machine is built for demanding tasks. It features a braked axle designed to handle additional accessories such as a log lifter. With a total weight of approximately 1100 kg, including the log lifter, the machine is stable and safe to transport. Additionally, it offers the best log lifter available for mobile firewood processors.
Cutting
The cutting system of the Japa® 365+ ROAD was developed in collaboration with firewood professionals to meet their needs. The angled infeed table and log presser ensure the log is centered and properly positioned for sawing, resulting in a smooth cutting process and a straight cut, even for the final log. A retractable log length limiter ensures that logs fall into the splitting chute in the correct position. Chain oil is hydraulically pumped from a separate tank that is easy to refill, with the oil level visible from the operator’s station. Maintenance or replacement of the chain and bar is simple, thanks to the active safety guard that can be opened.
Splitting
The Japa® 365+ ROAD delivers exceptional splitting performance, outclassing competitors in its category. The machine can be equipped with 4-, 6-, or 8-way frame blades to meet various requirements. Side-supported splitting wedges, commonly found in professional-grade machines, ensure the best usability, durability, and finished firewood quality in this class. The frame blade, combined with a larger pusher than usual, prevents even large logs from falling back onto the wrong side of the splitting blade after splitting. The splitting chute, open at the bottom and widening downward, keeps the chute clean by allowing chips, shavings, and bark to fall away. The processor boasts a splitting force of 7 tons. A well-functioning splitting system minimizes the need to open safety guards, speeding up the workflow.
