The cutting system of the Japa® 365+, developed in collaboration with firewood professionals, caters to the specific needs of firewood makers. The angled infeed table and log presser ensure that the log is properly centered and positioned during sawing, resulting in uninterrupted operation and straight cuts, even on the last log. The retractable log length limiter ensures logs always fall into the splitting chute in the correct position. Chain oil is hydraulically pumped from a separate, easy-to-refill tank, and the oil level is visible from the operator’s station. Maintenance or replacement of the chain and bar is straightforward, thanks to the active safety guard that can be opened. The machine is operated with a mechanical control lever.

Side-supported splitting wedges, commonly used in professional-grade machines, ensure excellent usability, durability, and high-quality firewood output. The frame blade, combined with a larger-than-standard pusher, prevents even large logs from falling back onto the wrong side of the blade after splitting.
The splitting chute is open at the bottom and widens downward, which keeps it clean by allowing chips, shavings, and bark to fall away. With a splitting force of 7 tons, the Japa® 365+ ensures efficient and smooth operation. Its reliable splitting system reduces the need to open safety guards, speeding up the workflow. All 365 models are also available with the PerfectSplit blade, which can be easily swapped in place of the standard frame blade. The splitting wedge height is adjusted manually with a lever.
