The new Japa 505 firewood processor is available in two models: Japa 505 and Japa 505 Pro. Learn about the shared features of these models in our previous article.
This news highlights the most significant additional features and benefits offered by the Pro model for demanding professional use: Perfect Split, Perfect Clean, an oil cooler, and an additional feed roller.
Perfect Split splitting system
Perfect Split creates evenly sized firewood, ideal for consistent and efficient burning in stoves, fireplaces, and commercial applications such as restaurant-grade firewood. The system’s partial return option accelerates production, particularly for shorter logs.
The Japa 505 Pro also allows for the use of traditional splitting blades. Switching between Perfect Split and traditional blades has been made simpler, offering flexibility for high production volumes and applications where firewood size consistency is less critical. The half-stroke splitting function further speeds up processing for shorter logs.
Perfect Clean cleaning system
Perfect Clean effectively removes loose bark, sawdust, and debris from firewood by using vibration. A separate conveyor transfers waste away, resulting in clean, high-quality firewood.
Oil cooler
The oil cooler maintains optimal hydraulic oil temperature, preventing overheating and reducing maintenance needs, ensuring efficient operation even in warm conditions.
Additional in-feed roller
An extra in-feed roller at the start of the in-feed conveyor improves handling of large logs, enhancing productivity, ergonomics, and safety.
The largest and most advanced Japa machine yet
Export Manager Joonas Myllylä describes the Japa 505 as a powerful, fast, and reliable firewood processor featuring innovative solutions. The Pro model’s unique features set it apart from competitors in its size category.
“Especially the Pro model’s interchangeable splitting method between Perfect Split and traditional blades is unique on the market. This versatility enables a highly productive machine that adapts well to varying raw materials: traditional blades process smaller logs quickly, while Perfect Split ensures high productivity and quality output for larger logs.”
The Japa 505 combines eight years of expertise and customer feedback from its predecessor, the Japa 435, resulting in the largest and most advanced Japa machine to date.
“We’ve done excellent work in product development. The machine is faster than its predecessor, even with significantly increased maximum log diameter. Improved and entirely new features, along with an enhanced user interface, boost reliability and ease of use,” says Myllylä.
